October 17, 2023 - International Day for the Eradication of Poverty

This special day serves as a heartbreaking reminder that ending poverty is still one of humanity's most important aims. In Germany, one out of every five children is poor. A warm meal a day is not a guarantee for these children, and they frequently have to give up many typical aspects of childhood that their classmates take for granted. Their parents frequently struggle to provide cultural and social opportunities for their children.

Poverty has a long-term impact, particularly on children and young adults, limiting their chances, life happiness, and health. Its consequences ripple throughout our society. The LR Global Kids Fund has made it its goal to halt this destructive cycle. We assist poor young people to participate in social activities and receive an education by sponsoring a wide range of children's aid initiatives, giving them the chance of a more self-determined and brighter future.
