Young people need opportunities, trust and strong support
Youth is a time filled with questions, dreams and important decisions. It is a time when young people begin to find their own path – and need support, guidance and encouragement along the way.
But not all young people start out with the same opportunities. Difficult family circumstances, a lack of support or challenging living conditions can limit their prospects before they have even had the chance to develop.
This is where our SoWo project, the Social Residential Home in Austria, makes a difference. In its socio-educational residential groups, young people find stability, guidance and a safe environment in which they can gradually become more independent. Workshops, everyday-life training and individual support help them discover their strengths, take responsibility and develop new prospects for their future.
The LR Global Kids Fund e.V. supports projects such as SoWo, which give young people courage, provide reliable guidance and show them that they are not alone – and that there are people who believe in them.
When we empower young people, we give them a future.
