Support for Siblings in the Children's Hospice

When a child is seriously ill or lives with a disability, siblings are often heavily affected too – with worries, questions, and feelings for which there is little room in everyday life. Sibling support in the children's hospice creates exactly this safe space: Here, children are allowed to simply be children, open up, feel understood, and regain strength. In an empathetic atmosphere and through age-appropriate activities or shared outings, moments of relief, joy, and belonging are created.

The aim is to give siblings time, attention, and emotional stability during challenging times.

This donation strengthens an important part of hospice work – and gives siblings back a piece of security and support.

The project was nominated by our sponsoring member Alexander Bischoff.
