The Union of Mothers‘ Centres organisation empowers disadvantaged families to enhance their quality of life and rediscover their resilience. Across three mothers' centres, children receive targeted support and essential learning materials—creating safe havens for play, education, and personal growth.

Parents are actively involved too: through workshops and self-help groups, they gain practical assistance with job applications, further education, and building self-confidence. This fosters an environment where families stay united, learn from one another, and unlock fresh perspectives.

About the project

In many regions of Slovakia, children and their parents face harsh realities. There's a critical shortage of early childhood development, learning resources, and suitable leisure activities. Parents often grapple with major obstacles: unemployment, limited qualifications, and social isolation all hinder the path to self-determination and stability.
