Together for children worldwide: LR Global Kids Fund presents a successful annual report
Ahlen, June 17, 2025 – The LR Global Kids Fund e.V. (LRGKF) looks back on a successful year in 2024: a total of 45 projects in 19 countries were supported - with a clear focus on opening up new opportunities for children and young people in difficult circumstances. The aim of the association is to give these young people a better chance of a self-determined future.
Following its 15th anniversary last year, which was celebrated with a high-profile campaign with the slogan “I do nothing*... Better than giving children a smile!”, the association was able to significantly increase its impact and visibility once again. An increased presence at events also helped to generate further donations and gain new supporters.
In 2024, a total of almost 450,000 euros in donations were used to support project work worldwide. Fundraising through cause-related marketing by LR Health & Beauty makes a significant contribution: selected products contribute a fixed donation share to the financing of social work. In 2024, the company donated a total of 330,000 euros to the LRGKF - a strong sign of social responsibility. A further 200,000 euros in donations came from the contributions of loyal supporting members, another important element of the association's donation income. “We would like to thank LR Health & Beauty, all LR sales partners and employees from the bottom of our hearts for their great commitment. It is only possible to help worldwide with the support of this strong community,” underlines Kirsten Ueckmann, Chairwoman of the board of the association. The LRGKF will continue to provide disadvantaged children with hope, education and security. After all, every project supported helps to improve a child's life in the long term.
