World Day of Social Justice – 20 February 2026
Why Social Justice is the Foundation of a Fair Future for Children and Young People
Social justice means that every person – regardless of origin, income, or circumstances – deserves the same opportunities. For children and young people, this justice is particularly crucial, as it lays the foundation for their entire future. Yet many young people still grow up in conditions that deny them important opportunities: lack of participation, unequal educational chances, poverty, or the absence of safe and supportive structures.
The World Day of Social Justice on 20 February reminds us that fairness doesn't happen automatically. It needs people who look, support, and open doors. For every child who is supported despite difficult circumstances receives not just help for the moment – but a real chance at a future with self-confidence, stability, and prospects.
We are committed to strengthening these opportunities. With donations and funding contributions, projects can be supported that help disadvantaged children and young people where it matters most: with participation, support, protection, and a fair start in life.
Your support creates more than compensation – it creates possibilities. Together, we can contribute to making social justice not just a goal, but a reality:
