Positive interim results: more than EUR 150,000 raised through sales campaigns
The LR Global Kids Fund has already achieved a great donations result in 2016. This record is to be broken in 2017 in order to expand the support of disadvantaged children even further. Thanks to the active commitment of its sponsoring members and the LR sales partners, the association is on the right track. The aim is to contribute one million euros to the good cause every year starting from 2020.
This year, LR Health & Beauty organises a large number of fundraising campaigns for the LR Global Kids Fund. Moreover, the successful charity campaign from 2016 has been continued: On 1 July, LR launched the third special edition of the high-quality NewWave porcelain mug by Villeroy & Boch in Aloe Vera design. For every mug sold, LR donates ten euros to the LR Global Kids Fund. As appropriate for the relaunch of the new LR ALOE VIA care series, the mugs are in high demand among the sales partners. Moreover, a large number of donations were raised through LR campaigns, in which LR donates one euro to the LR Global Kids Fund for every campaign product sold. In total, more than EUR 150,000 were collected in the LR’s donation campaigns in the first seven months. “This is a great amount. But we are not there yet. I am sure that, together, we will achieve a new record result this year. Come join us and enhance the quality of life for many children and adolescents in need,” says Dr. Thomas Stoffmehl, Chairman of the LR Global Kids Fund and CEO of LR Health & Beauty.
