SOS Children's Villages Worldwide: SOS Children's Village Belgium - A Home for Young People
In the SOS Children's Village Chantevent, young people aged 14 and over find not only a loving home but also targeted support on their way to an independent life. In the youth residential group, they are gradually encouraged in their independence, learn to take responsibility, and are actively involved in decisions – an important basis for more self-confidence and self-reliance.
The pedagogical team supports the young people with individual care, practical everyday skills, and psychological support. This allows them to process their past, develop personal goals, and look confidently ahead.
Access to training and internship positions also opens up real opportunities for a self-determined future – with perspective, stability, and confidence in their own strength.
