LLLL - Learn to Read – Learn to Live: A Project for Children's Future

With the project "LLLL – Learn to Read – Learn to Live", the Rotary Club Warendorf is committed to promoting reading among primary school children in the Warendorf district. At a time when many children have few books available at home, the project creates valuable access to reading material – and thus to education.

Each child receives their own book, which is read in class and can then be taken home. Supplementary teacher's guides ensure that the content is conveyed in an age-appropriate manner and understood sustainably.

This offer is particularly important for children from households with little reading promotion. Studies show: Those who grow up with books read better – and those who read better have better future prospects. LLLL addresses this directly and makes an important contribution to equal opportunities in education.

The project was nominated by our sponsoring member Gerrit Knein.
